Dulux Colour of the Year 2023: how to use Wild Wonder in your home
Wild Wonder is a magical gold-green tone that's all about reconnecting to nature - and it's super versatile, too! We share ideas on how to use this shade in your home, as well as complementary colours
Dulux has named Wild Wonder as its Colour of the Year for 2023.
Every year, the iconic paint brand uses its expertise in the science of colour and emerging design trends to select a shade that perfectly sets the tone for the year ahead. Last year, it chose Bright Skies, a dreamy sky blue that encapsulated the sense of possibility and freedom felt around the world as Covid restrictions eased.
Dulux describes Wild Wonder as 'a soft gold with hints of green inspired by fresh seed pods and harvest grain', a choice inspired by the global conversation around sustainability, as well as the recent embrace of nature-inspired tones in the home for their grounding and soothing properties during what have been a tumultuous few years.
The company says the shade 'offers us a connection with nature and that brings a sense of natural magic into our homes.'
