Lamb leg steaks with a herb and paprika rub

Lovely herby spiced lamb steaks to add a touch of luxury to a quick meal

Lamb Steaks


  • Boneless lamb leg steaks 2 x 150g

For the Herb and Paprika Rub

  • Dried thyme 1 tbsp
  • Dried basil 1 tbsp
  • Dried parsley 1 tbsp
  • Smoked paprika 2 tsp
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper


  • Step 1

    Place all the ingredients on a shallow plate and mix well.

  • Step 2

    Coat the steaks with the rub on both sides and cook on a prepared barbecue or under preheated moderate grill for 6-8 minutes on each side or until the meat juices run clear.

  • Step 3

    Serve with potato wedges and a green salad.
