The Georgian house of Elizabeth Bennet from the 1995 BBC series has just gone up for sale

Ever wished you could take a turn around the garden at Longbourn, or sit longingly by the window doing your best Lizzie Bennet impression? Well now, you can, as the Bennets' family home from the BBC's 1995 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice has just gone up sale!
Although a modest household in the Jane Austen novel, the real Longbourn House, located in Chippenham in Wiltshire, has gone on the market for a spectacular £6,000,000.

Fans of Georgian architecture and interiors will get a treat peaking inside this beautiful Grade II listed manor house, which originally dates all the way back to the 11th century and is built in local Cotswold stone.

The house contains eight bedrooms, numerous reception rooms (perfect for throwing a Bridgerton-style bash), an extra external cottage and a 17th-century dovecote to show off to your guests.
