Compiled by B&Q’s experts and reflected in Pinterest insights for searches over the past year, B&Q’s 2020 Kitchen Trends Report’s predictions include the rise of the ‘Midnight Blue’ kitchen, red wine inspired kitchens, dubbed ‘Merlot Magic’, and kitchens featuring natural looking materials, or ‘The Stone Age’ kitchen.
Based on what Pinterest users in the UK searched for over the past year, 2020 will see Brits embrace the dark side, with searches in 2019 for ‘navy’ or ‘midnight blue’ kitchens increasing by 45%, and thanks to B&Q’s new affordable artemisia range, the trend is predicted to continue to increase in popularity.
