Information and customer service

The description of the mattress was accurate and informative, which is reassuring when you're buying online.

We also had great customer service, and the free delivery accommodated our request to leave it in a safe spot while we were at work.

The 40-night trial period is comparable with the majority of other mattresses we tested, and it's worth noting they don't offer mattress disposal services for old ones.

Features

I loved the recyclable packaging for this mattress - thick sugarcane packaging combined with cardboard. However, it didn’t come with handles which made it awkward for two of us to get upstairs as it was very heavy.

Happily, the mattress inflated in less than the two hours stated, which meant I had a comfortable night’s sleep on the same day of delivery. There was no odour from the mattress, but I did have the windows open for the afternoon to help air it.

The mattress is eco-friendly and is made using memory foam certified by CertiPUR™, and incorporates recycled plastic bottles into the fabric fillings. It’s also naturally fire-retardant, eliminating the need for chemical additives.

Additionally, it features 2900 dual-layer pocket springs, a blend of mini and full-height pocket springs that provide pressure relief and are ideal for different weight sleepers as it adapts to individual body movement.

In terms of temperature regulation, it boasts 30 times more breathability than standard foams thanks to its advanced open-cell structure, ensuring a cooler and more comfortable sleep.

It’s also easy to care for as there’s no need to flip it - turning it 180 degrees horizontally ensures it will wear evenly.

Unfortunately, the cover is not removable for washing but you can sponge clean if required.

This mattress is 28cm deep and is available in a range of sizes.

The Results

The memory foam on the top layer feels cosy, and there's a sense of support from the springs, and combined, I felt it very much lived up to the description of being a 'soft' mattress.

The materials and trim felt very good quality and the finish is great, which isn't suprising given the generous eight year guarantee.

However, over and above the comfort and quality, I really loved this mattresses green credentials - from packaging to mattress materials.

Value for Money

While this is in the mid-to-upper price bracket of all the mattresses we tested, I think it offers great value for money given the trial period, the guarentee and the recyclable materials.
