Mini doughnut nests
Smother fluffy ring doughnuts in chocolate and decorate with sprinkles and milk chocolate eggs for this mouth-watering Easter treat. Recipe and image courtesy of Asda, asda.com

Ingredients
- 50g Bake by Asda milk or white cooking chocolate
- 9-pack Asda sugar mini ring doughnuts
- 3-4 Asda chocolate sticks or ½ x 70g pack Bake by Asda chocolate sprinkles or 15g Asda desiccated coconut
- 120g Smarties milk chocolate mini eggs
Method
Step 1
Break chocolate into pieces and put into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 20 second bursts in the microwave, until just melted. Stir and set aside to cool.
Step 2
Crumble chocolate sticks onto a plate, and sprinkles and/or coconut onto other plates.
Step 3
Dip the top of each doughnut into the melted chocolate, letting any excess run off. Dip in or sprinkle over your chosen topping so the chocolate is just about covered. Put on a wire rack to set for 20 mins. Top each doughnut with mini chocolate eggs before serving.
