Chocolate peanut butter banana bread

This banana bread is indulgent and the best bit of tuck to dig into after a long day - try it with a cup of peppermint tea, mmmmm

Ingredients
- Ripened bananas 300g, mashed
- Melted butter 125ml
- Large eggs 2, lightly beaten
- Vanilla extract 1 ½ tsp
- SKIPPY® Smooth Peanut Butter 85g, warmed
- Plain flour 128g
- Dark chocolate chips 90g
- Cocoa powder 50g
- Sugar 156g
- Baking soda 1 tsp
- Baking powder ¾ tsp
- Salt ½ tsp
- Warm peanut butter to decorate
Method

Step 1
Heat oven to 180oC (Gas Mark 4)

In large bowl, stir together the banana, butter, eggs, vanilla extract and peanut butter.

In separate bowl combine the flour and remaining ingredients. Stir the flour mixture into the banana mixture until blended.

Transfer to a lightly greased 21 x 11 x 6 cm inch loaf pan.

Bake 45 to 55 minutes, or until a cocktail stick or skewer inserted in centre comes out clean.

Cool completely on wire rack 20 minutes.

Drizzle with warm peanut butter, if desired.
