6-a-day smoothie

Ingredients

  • 300-500g Greek yoghurt
  • Layer 1: 200g frozen raspberries
  • Layer 2: 200g frozen mango
  • Layer 3: 200g frozen pineapple
  • Layer 4: 1 x 85g bag watercress
  • 100g frozen pineapple
  • Layer 5: 200g frozen mixed berries
  • Layer 6: 200g diced beetroot, frozen
  • fruit, to garnish (if liked)

Method

  • Step 1

    You will need 6 bowls, one for each layer of the smoothie. Put a spoonful of Greek yoghurt into a blender with the frozen raspberries and a splash of water. Blend until smooth, adding more yoghurt and water if needed. Pour into a bowl and chill. Wash the blender bowl.

  • Step 2

    Repeat with the ingredients for the other layers, adding a spoonful of yoghurt each time and ensuring that the blender is cleaned between each layer.

  • Step 3

    Take four highball glasses and carefully spoon in the different layers in any order you like, cleaning the spoon between each layer. Decorate with fresh fruit on a cocktail stick, and serve.
