‘Typo’ Digitally Printed Duvet Cover, from £40, J by Jasper Conran at Debenhams
If you’re looking to refresh your bedroom on a budget, clever shopping is a must. Whilst small accessories will help you change up the overall feel of your space, swapping out your bedding will have the biggest impact on the way your room looks, giving it an instant lift. This Jasper Conrad bedding is perfect for the job – the cool, monochrome print is incredibly chic, whilst the soft sateen cotton will give you a luxury feel. Oh, and at £50 for a double, it’s a steal!
Pink Star Ring & Earring Stand, £14.50, Oliver Bonas
Although this celestial pink star stand looks good enough to be an ornament in its own right, we just love how handy it is for storing precious rings, earrings and trinkets. Style it on your bedside table if you want to add a pop of colour to your room, or repurpose it in the hallway as a handy key holder – it’ll be sure to add a bit of interest to the entrance of your home.
Gozo Concrete Cotton Jar, £12, Very
We love the speckled pattern on this Gozo jar from Very – layered on top of the textured, white concrete, it gives the piece an expensive, luxe feel. The jar itself is an ideal storage solution, especially for homes with a contemporary interior… It’s 14 cm tall, so you can style it in your bathroom and use it to store plenty of cotton balls, buds or cosmetic pads, but we think it looks amazing in a kitchen too.
Fox & Ivy Tribal Amber Glass Vase, £8.00, Tesco
This week, Tesco released an affordable homeware range for autumn/winter 2020, and we couldn’t be more in love! The collection is inspired by global travel, and boasts an array of rich earthy tones that’re perfect for warming up your home during the colder months. This Fox & Ivy amber vase is one of our favourite pieces from the collection – the burnt orange glass is seriously in vogue, and the bold, sculptural shape makes it perfect for styling dried grass posies on your mantelpiece.
OYOY MINI Follow The Rainbow Wall Hanging Decoration, £100, John Lewis
When it comes to injecting a bit of personality into your decor, nothing beats a wall hanging. Whether it’s a tapestry, a macramé creation or even an elegant Japanese-style fan, wall art can give any space an eye-catching focal point – especially when it looks as cool as OYOY’s Follow the Rainbow hanging. We love the 70s motif and soft muted tones in this tapestry – they remind us of Brave Ground, Dulux’s colour of 2021, and look perfect styled above a retro sideboard. Not to your taste? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered… Check out more of our favourite wall hangings here!
