How long do peel and stick tiles last?
On average, stick-on tiles can last anywhere from three to 25 years, depending on how carefully they’re installed and the environment they live in. Peel and stick bathroom tiles, for example, may last less time than a peel and stick backsplash in a kitchen, because they will be more likely to be exposed to steam and condensation, while the lifespan of stick-on floor tiles will depend on traffic levels. Can you put stick-on tiles over tiles?
In short, yes – you can put stick-on tiles over existing tiles, provided that you clean and prepare them first.
