You will need
- Cotton cushion cover
- Template – click here
- Pencil
- Black fabric paint
- Thin paintbrush
- Iron-on foil
- Iron
- Tea towel
Step 1
Print the face template on paper. Carefully cut out the different parts of the face.
Step 2
Next, position the template pieces on the cushion cover and draw round each with a pencil.
Step 3
Paint the abstract face design using a thin paintbrush and black fabric paint, and leave to dry.
Step 4
Use the template to cut out a pair of lips in pink iron-on foil. Set the iron to a cool setting with the steam off and place the lips on the cushion cover. Lay a tea towel on top and gently iron over for a few minutes until the foil has bonded to the fabric. Remove the tea towel and allow to cool before peeling off the top carrier layer of the foil.
