New doors can be a costly investment, especially when they are UPVC! But sometimes you just want a quick fix that will cover any outdated door finishes and give your property a fresh new look.
But did you know that you can transform your front door without having to hire a professional?
With just a couple of cans of Rust-Oleum’s Universal All-Surface Spray Paint, you could give your front door a complete makeover in less than one day – saving you thousands! Plus the Rust-Oleum Universal All-Surface Paint is fade and chip resistant, giving you a long-lasting finish.
If you want to have a go, take a look at Rust-Oleum’s easy guide below.
Ensure your UPVC is thoroughly cleaned and is free of dust and contaminates then allow to dry fully.
Lay down your dust sheets infront of the door, then use masking tape and plastic sheeting to cover any glass and ironmongery and protect it from the spray paint.
Carefully apply one to two coats of Rust-Oleum Universal All-Surface Paint. If you get a few drips of paint, then wipe them off and recoat. It’s best to work with lots of thin layers of paint, rather than trying to get a full coverage straight away.
