Make your own DIY Scandi baubles
If you're looking to give your Christmas tree some stylish festive decor for a fraction of the price, this tutorial from Rust-Oleum and Juliet Bawden could be just what you need...
We’d all love a touch of Scandi decoration in our homes but, understandably, sometimes the budget doesn’t quite stretch to these little accessories – here’s how you can make your own for half the price!
Gather foliage and ensure it is completely dry before starting your bauble project.
Move the foliage to a well-ventilated space and place on top of a dust sheet or some old newspaper.
Take your chosen colours from the Rust-Oleum range and shake your spray can thoroughly. Hold the can approximately 30cm from the surface of the foliage and spray. Apply several light coats a few minutes apart and leave to dry in a well-ventilated area.
For this project Rust-Oleum super sparkly glitter spray paint in gold and silver and Rust-Oleum rose gold metallic were used.
Once dry, pop your foliage inside the fillable baubles.
Tie your baubles with colourful pieces of ribbon and place them on your tree or around your home.
