Make a few of these cute chalets for an Alpine village effect.

You will need:

  • Christmas cabin template - download and print here
  • Card, thin enough to go through a photocopier or printer
  • Scissors or craft knife and ruler
  • Glue stick
  • Snowflake sequins (optional)
  • 10cm ribbon to hang

Step 1

Begin by downloading and printing the Christmas Cabin Template. You can make the finished cabin any size you wish by simply enlarging or reducing the pattern on a photocopier. Our finished house measured 10cm tall from the base to the top of the roof. Cut round the solid outer lines with scissors or use a craft knife and ruler.

Step 2

Next cut out the windows and then lightly score the hashed fold lines. Fold the cabin, gluing the tabs together as you work. Start with the base and finish with the roof.

Step 3

Decorate the bottom of the cabin and the roof with some more card, this can be a different colour card if you wish. Use shaped scissors for a pretty effect. Add a few sparkly sequins on top of the roof and, lastly, thread a hanging ribbon though the top of the house.
