Cheap two-slice toasters

Daewoo Hive 2-Slice Textured Body Toaster

This two-slice toaster from Daewoo comes with an eye-catching textured cool blue-grey finish that is sure to add some flair to your countertops. Part of the brand's compact Hive range, it's a great choice for small kitchens - or just very full ones! The control panel includes the standard defrost and reheat functions, as well as a browning dial with seven settings to choose from. We also appreciate the inclusion of a high-lift handle - so useful for safely fishing out crumpets and other smaller toastables.

Dunelm 2-Slice Red Toaster

This ultra-cheap two-slice toaster from Dunelm includes a built-in warming rack to keep toast or pastries warm - handy for when you've got guests for breakfast. And that's as well as the usual defrost and reheat functions, and seven-point browning controls. In cheerful bright red (also available in grey, black and white), this is a compact and easy-to-use budget toaster that's guaranteed to brighten up your kitchen without denting your wallet.

Cookworks 2-Slice Toaster

If you love the clean, contemporary look of brushed stainless steel, this two-slice toaster by Cookworks will complement your kitchen decor perfectly. You'll find all the usual functions on the control panel, including defrost, reheat and cancel, as well as a choice of seven browning settings to get your preferred finish. Plus, with its generous 3cm-wide slots, this is a great choice if you regularly toast crumpets or bagels.

LOGIK L02TB21 2-Slice Toaster

You'll struggle to find a cheaper toaster on the high street than this two-slice one from LOGIK, but the brushed stainless steel detailing makes it look more premium than the low price tag would suggest.

It does everything you'd expect from a toaster (defrost, reheat and browning control), and more, as well - because, unusually for a toaster at this low price point, it also comes with a bonus feature in the form of a built-in warming rack!

Cheap four-slice toasters

Breville VTT992 Lustra 4 Slice Toaster

Currently available at Argos for £30, this four-slice toaster has a classy retro style, with illuminated control dials reminiscent of a vintage radio. Made of hard-wearing stainless steel, it comes in a fetching matt green (above) or black finish.

The right and left hand slots can be controlled separately, with each featuring defrost and reheat modes, as well as nine toasting levels to choose from. The 'lift and look' function also allows you to check on your toast mid-cycle, and the high-lift lever lets you remove smaller slices with ease.

Vete Ochre 4 Slice Toaster

How cute is this sunny yellow four-slice toaster from Dunelm? Currently on sale at £22.50, you won't find this size of toaster for much cheaper - and we reckon it looks considerably more expensive.

Each pair of slots is individually operated via illuminated controls, offering all the standard functions and six toasting settings, as well as a high lift function to check the progress of your toast without cancelling the cycle.

Morphy Richards 240116 Evoke 4 Slice Toaster

With its chic brushed stainless steel finish and trendy rose gold detailing, this four-slice toaster from leading brand Morphy Richards offers a luxe look at a truly affordable price. Each pair of slots is independently controlled with a separate panel of light-up buttons for the defrost, reheat or cancel functions, and a dial offering seven browning settings.

With two removable crumb trays, this toaster is easy to keep clean - plus, the cord storage on the underside of the appliance ensures it looks neat on your countertop, too.

LOGIK L04TC19 4-Slice Toaster

We're big fans of a cream kitchen here at YourHomeStyle, and if you feel the same way, this impressively cheap cream toaster by LOGIK will look fabulous on your kitchen counter.

Each side operates independently, with cancel, reheat and defrost modes, and six browning levels to choose from. With extra-wide slots and a high-lift function, this is a versatile toaster that's great for non-standard items.

And if cream isn't your thing, the same model is also available in a brown, black or red finish.
